Who We Are

The Activity Box is managed by a team of expatriate women, previously all professionals back in their own countries.  Our diverse backgrounds covers the Arts and Architecture, Psychology and Education, Retail, Event Management and Finance.

 Having relocated to Shanghai, we desired a community place that was welcoming to child and family and that was conducive to play and learning. Our passion for such an environment thus brought into reality ‘The Activity Box’.

Through our activities, we hope to draw families closer together, to allow children to have fun and truly enjoy their childhoods whilst their parents take a much-needed respite from their busy lives. At the same time, we aim to provide a safe and warm setting that would be conducive to the discovery of new things and acquisition of knowledge.
